Catie van Beuningen is an independent communications consultant based in The Hague, The Netherlands. With over a decade of experience she has worked for a broad range of clients crafting strategic communications plans, delivering international press campaigns, enhancing corporate communications and managing international press trips and events. She is an ambitious and creative thinker who applies her skills across communications to achieve impactful results.
Prior to commencing as a freelance consultant, Catie worked for communications agencies Sutton and Reiber PR in London, managing campaigns across art, design and lifestyle press. At Sutton she managed the team responsible for UK and European press for Art Basel across its events in Basel, Hong Kong and Miami. Further clients have included PAD London, Fondation Cartier, Lévy Gorvy, Ben Brown Fine Arts and The Photographers’ Gallery London. Recent freelance clients have also included: The Auction Collective, 1 Picasso for 100 Euros, Saison International and Artsy.
Raised in the UK by Dutch parents, Catie is fluent in both English and Dutch, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish and French.
Catie studied Graphic Design and History of Art in Groningen, The Netherlands, and later obtained a master’s degree in Management in the Creative Industries from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Most recently she completed a professional course in Communications for Influence and Impact at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
